Clarice J. Johnson, 81, of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to her family for a fund to be established.
Clarice was born on August 27, 1934, in New Windsor, IL, the daughter of Irvan and Laurena Bodeen Johnson. She married W. Robert Johnson at First Congregational Church in Moline on July 31, 1954, and he preceded her in death on August 8, 2006. She worked as a teller for Moline National Bank and later in procurement for the Rock Island Arsenal.
Clarice was a member of First Congregational Church in Moline. She was the Vice Chief for the Moline Viking Clara Lodge 118 and a member of both the Vasa Lodge and the Svithoid Club. She enjoyed ceramics and Nascar. More than anything, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Julie (Kent) Holt, Quad Cities, and Pamela (Keith) Morris, Moline, IL; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, David; 3 sisters.
