Clayton "Hon" Richard Jessen

Clayton “Hon” Richard Jessen, 89, of Milan, passed away at home Saturday, March 30, 2018, after an extended illness.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Greenview Mausoleum Chapel at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Memorials may be made to UnityPoint Hospice.

Clayton was born on January 18, 1929, in Moline, the son of Walter C. and Lola I. White Jessen.  He was a life time Cubs fan.

Survivors include sister, Shirley Coryell, and two angels, Denny and Mary Gottwalt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Frank, and brother-in-law, Robert Coryell.

His family would like to thank Dr. Brian Cady, Beverly, and UnityPoint Hospice, especially Darcy and Jessica who gave Hon excellent care and comfort, along with our family and friends for the help and comfort that was given.
