Clifford Duwain Johnson, 72 of Coal Valley died August 19, 2004 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline
Funeral services will be 1p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2004 at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.
Clifford was born July 2, 1932 in Moline to John and Sophia Pehrson Johnson. He was married to Eleanor Dean in1960.
After graduating from Moline High School in 1950, Clifford went to work at the Rock Island Arsenal. From 1952-1955 he served in the United States Airforce. After being discharged, Clifford returned to the Arsenal and completed machinist training. He retired in 1987 as a planner.
Hobbies included golfing at Indian Bluff, watching NASCAR with friends, and traveling to Sun City, AZ in the winter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
