Clyde Irvin Bartlett, 70, of Rock Island, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, died peacefully August 27, 2010 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Cremation rites will follow the funeral service. Donations may be made to Clyde's family for a memorial to be established at a later time.
Clyde was born on August 2, 1940 in Moline to John A. and Iris Maxine Calvert Bartlett. He was married to Virginia Lee Lage for 30 years.
Clyde graduated from Rock Island High School in 1958 and from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, Missouri, in 1965 with a degree in Christian Music and Ministry. Clyde's love of music led him to serve in Music Ministry throughout his life. He was an Associate Pastor for Faith Baptist Church in Madison, Wisconsin. Clyde was most recently a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island where he was active in Celebrate Recovery.
