Connie Ann Porter, age 60, of Stanwood, WA, formerly of Davenport, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Providence Regional Medical Center, Colby Campus, Everett, WA.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
Connie was born April 16, 1949 in Davenport, IA the daughter of Melvin and Yvonne (Stotler) McKay. She married Michael "Mike" Porter on February 14, 1970 in Moline.
Connie was currently employed as a bookkeeper for Hascal, Sjoholm & Company. She was a 1967 graduate of Moline High School. Connie enjoyed traveling, and had lived on both coasts as well as the Midwest. She took great pleasure in the relationships she made through her career and her travels. She was a big fan of the glitz and glitter of the casinos and enjoyed playing computer games.
