Consuelo T. Torres, age 73, of Moline, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 12, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation is from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Consuelo was born March 26, 1938 in San Nicolas GTO Mexico, the daughter of Antonio and Luz Trigueros. She married Luis T. Torres in San Nicolas GTO Mexico. He preceded her in death on May 19, 2011.
Consuelo was employed as a custodian at Augustana College in Rock Island. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Moline, where she sang in the choir.
