Craig Allen Cox

Craig Allen Cox, 63, of Canton, MI, passed away, Thursday, September 3, 2020, in Rock Island.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline.  Visitation will be held 1-hour prior at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park.  In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.

Craig was born on September 14, 1956, in Davenport, IA, the son of Donald and Dolores (Schave) Cox.  He married Carolyn Turner on June 2, 1979, in Moline.  Craig graduated from the University of Illinois and then received his Masters of Electrical Engineering from Washington University. Craig was a Research Engineer for Ford Motor Co.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Cox; sons, Steve (Michelle) Cox & Brian (Ivy) Cox, and daughter, Emily Cox; mother, Dolores Cox; brothers, Dave Cox and Mark (Anne) Cox.

He was preceded in death by his father.
