Cynthia A. Metcalf, 64, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Per her wishes, there will be no services and burial will be at National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with services.
Cynthia was born on January 24, 1952, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Curtis E. and Bette Ingvall Carlson. She married Orlando P. Metcalf, III on February 23, 1991, in Waukesha, WI. She graduated from Wesley Memorial which is now North Western Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Cynthia went on to work as a registered nurse for several hospitals in the Chicago and Quad Cities areas.
Survivors include her loving husband, Orlando, and son, Ian Metcalf; father, Curtis Carlson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mitzi and Christopher Cole, Billy Metcalf and Delia Phillips, and Stephen and Jane Metcalf.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bette Carlson.
