Cynthia Ann Petersmith, 58, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Moline, passed away on October 4, 2006 in Florida.
Rite of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-9 with a wake service at 4 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave, Moline. Entombment will be in Memorial Park, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
Cynthia was born in Rock Island, IL on September 13, 1948 to Robert & Dorothy (Lawrence) Allen.
Cynthia graduated from Rock Island High School in 1966 then attended Mary Crest University, Davenport. She worked for John Deere Co. in the Human Resources Dept of the Harvester Works and retired in 1999. After retiring and prior to relocating to Cape Coral in 2004, she was a travel agent for the Travel Business, Moline. She found her real niche in Ft. Myers where she worked in retail clothing for Chico's Fas.
She loved traveling, shopping and having lunch with the girls.
