D. Virginia Hott, 92, of Moline, IL died October 27, 2011 at Country Manor in Davenport, IA.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2011 at First United Methodist Church, 210 W. Church Street, Champaign, IL. Memorials may be made to the Bottenfield Elementary School at 1801 S. Prospect, Champaign, IL 61820 to fund new playground equipment. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Virginia was born on May 14, 1919 in Christian County IL to A. E. and Katherine Satterlee. She married Raymond F. Hott in 1940 in Champaign. Raymond preceded her in death on November 13, 2007.
Virginia graduated from the University of Illinois and taught at the Lincoln School and Bottenfield Elementary in Champaign.
She is survived by
