Dale E. Arnold, age 83, of Moline, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Trinity Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 22, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 2-4 P.M., Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, with military honors by the Orion American Legion Post #255. Memorials may be made to American Association of Kidney Patients, 3505 E. Frontage Road, Suite 315, Tampa, Florida, 33607, or to Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline.
Dale was born June 7, 1926 in Maquon, Illinois to George C. and Mary E. Harmison Arnold. He married Jeanne Maner on September 10, 1947 in LaGrange, Kentucky.
Dale was an Army Veteran with the Air Corp in WWII and was a member or the Orion American Legion Post #255 for 48 years. He was a farmer and later worked for Farmall, retiring in 1985. He enjoyed square dancing, camping and Wii bowling.
