Dale Otto Wynes

Dale Otto Wynes, 97, of Reynolds, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023, at his home.

Private family services will be held. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Dale was born on August 3, 1925, in Moline, the son of Otto D. and Ruth N. (McComas) Wynes. He married Marjorie L. Schultz on April 23, 1948, in Princeton, IL. She preceded him in death on June 20, 2001. Dale was a Veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a farmer in the Reynolds area.

Survivors include his children, Ken (Martha) Wynes, Larry Wynes, Lois Smith, Kay (Jeff) Wood; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; daughter-in-law, Donna Wynes; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
