Danny Eugene Juehring

Danny Eugene Juehring, 64, of Lynn Center, IL, died Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Genesis Medical Center – Silvis Campus, Silvis, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline.  Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Danny was born on January 26, 1953, in Moline, IL, the son of Eugene and Dawn Corey Juehring.  He married Melissa Lowery on May 6, 2004, in Bettendorf, IA.  He worked as a combine technician for Deere Harvester for 44 years and was a member of UAW Local 865.

Danny loved to be outside, especially out back at his lake.  He also treasured spending time with his family and dogs.  Danny was kind, gentle, selfless, and hardworking.  Danny was witty and always had a story and a smile.  His absence has left a great void.  When Danny wasn’t working, he was busy making memories with his family, especially his best buddy, Jaxon.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Juehring; children, Dustin (Heather Diffenbaugh) Dobbels and Abigail Dobbels; grandchild, Jaxon Dobbels; mother, Dawn Juehring; 4 sisters, Teri (Steven) Cooney, Karen (David) DeFrieze, Debbie (Bill Thomson) Juehring-Thomson, and Diane (Mark) Thompson; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.
