Darcie-Danielle Erin Swanson, 26, of San Clemente, CA, formerly of Moline, IL died on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Naval Medical Center in San Diego.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial is at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the family.
Darcie was born December 5, 1985 in Rock Island, the daughter of Nancy Miller and Kenny Long. She married Justin W. Swanson on March 6, 2008 in Rock Island.
Darcie was a 2004 graduate of United Township High School, where she was in the band. She enjoyed working on cars, and remote control cars and airplanes. Darcie was an organ doner. She loved to jet ski and had a real love of animals. She was active in military activities. Darcie was very supportive of the military, and was a very loving wife.
