Darlene L. "Dolly" White, 76 formerly of Swedona, IL died July 4, 2005 at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2005 at Cable Community Church. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., Orion. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Darlene was born February 5, 1929 in Rock Island to Carl and MaryPearl (Willy) Hofer. She married Clark White on February 22, 1947 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death in 1975.
Darlene was the head cook for 18 years for Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley retiring in 1984.
Darlene was a member of Cable Community Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
