David W. Peterson, 52, of Sherrard, died September 10, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Sherrard Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-12 p.m. at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., Orion. Memorials may be made to Sherrard Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Department.
Dave was born November 30, 1955 in Dixon, IL to Kenneth Ward and Dorothy J. Stoner Peterson. He married Ruth LaDue on October 1, 1977 in Aledo.
Dave was owner of Dave's Tap in Sherrard. Prior to purchasing Dave's Tap he was employed at John Deere Plow Planter for 10 years.
Dave was a big sports fan, especially Green Bay Packers and St . Louis Cardinals.
