Deborah A. Lerschen, 62, of Coal Valley, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m., Friday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Entombment will be at Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Deborah was born on December 6, 1955, in Beatrice, NE, the daughter of William R. and Inez M. (Bohling) Nealy. She married Patrick J. Lerschen on July 20, 1990, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Deb was currently employed as a certified legal assistant and legal secretary with Morrison, Marquis, Campbell, Lareau and Weng in Rock Island. Deb was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, the Svithiod Club, and the East End Club. She was an avid Nebraska sports fan and enjoyed keeping up with the softball and volleyball teams at Moline High School. Deb was also a collector of Longaberger baskets and Isabel Blooms, especially snowmen.
Survivors include her husband, Patrick; daughter, Jenifer Chase (Jeremy Vercautren), Moline; grandchildren, Madison Davis-Chase, Morgan Vercautren, Aiden Vercautren; sister, Brenda Zanga, Lincoln, NE, Diane (Paul) Wilken, Cook, NE, Krissy (Dusty) Emanuel, Lincoln, NE; brothers, Alan (Cathy) Nealy, Lincoln, NE, Greg Nealy, Lincoln, NE, and Chris Nealy, Lincoln, NE; dear friends, Gloria (Drew Newton) Schroder, Tucson, AZ, and Mike and Bonnie Slater, Coal Valley; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memories may be shared on the tribute wall.
