Dee Dee Burney

Deanna “Dee Dee” Kay Burney, 56, of Hampton, passed away Tuesday August 22, 2023, at her home.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2023, at Kay’s home. Private burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Dee Dee was born on February 22, 1967, in Moline, the daughter of Tom and Kay (Page) Burney. She enjoyed spending her time reading, crafting and making jewelry. She also collected crystals. Dee Dee had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed comedy, and music from the 70’s and 80’s. She loved her cats and being with her family.

Survivors include her children, Chelsea (Jared) Vasiliauskas, Zoey Burney; mom, Kay Burney; grandchildren, Sofia and Cooper Vasiliauskas; siblings, Brian (Kathryn) Burney, Angela (Jim) Finley, and Tania (Jason) Cotter.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tom.
