Delbert L. Olson

Delbert Lundeen Olson, 90, a lifelong resident of Moline, died September 29, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2008 at First Evangelical Free Church, Moline. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in Rose-Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Memorials may be made to First Evangelical Free Church or Gitche Gumee Bible Camp in Eagle River, MI.
Delbert was born September 14, 1918 in Moline to Siverine G. and Elizabeth A. Lundeen Olson. He married Myrna K. Rader on August 30, 1941 in Silvis. She preceded him in death on September 8, 1998.
Delbert started in 1936 at Ametek (formerly American Machine and Metals) in the mail room and worked his way up to head of Cost Accounting. He retired in 1976 after 39 years. He was an active member of First Evangelical Free Church and National Association of Accountants. He was also a member of the Moline Activity Center and other various senior groups.
