Delmer "Don" LeMaster, 78, of Moline, died December 21, 2008 at his home.
There will be private family services at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Don was born July 19, 1930 in Moline to James and Hannah Swanson LeMaster. He married Shirley Wells on May 7, 1954 at Zion Lutheran Church, East Moline.
Don was with the Moline Fire Department for 21 years retiring in 1978 as an engineer. He then worked for Don E. Williams Co. as a tool repairman retiring again in 1995.
Don was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, and was a fan of Dale Ernhardt Sr. and Jr. He also loved spending time with his Boston Terriers, Buttercup and Cassie.
He is survived by

He was preceded in death by his grandson Erik Huntley and his siblings, Bernice, Opal, Walter, Orville, Glen, Eldon and Evertt.
