Desyl I. Bowman, 83 formerly of Sherrard, died May 3, 2006 at Mercer County Nursing Home, Aledo, IL.
Funeral services will be 1p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., Orion. Visitation will be Monday from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swedona Cemetery, Swedona, IL. Memorials may be made to the Swedona Lutheran Church.
Desyl was born November 27, 1922 in Fergus Falls, MN to Lester and Mary (Gould) Holliday. She married Ruhl L. Bowman on June 26, 1943 in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1999.
Desyl was a member of Swedona Lutheran Church.
