Diana Beard, 71, of Colona, IL, died Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Genesis Medical Center – Silvis Campus, Silvis, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline, with visitation from 11-1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be at the National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the family.
Diana was born on November 6, 1945, in Moline, IL, the daughter of David and Betty (Cantrill) Neal. She married Roger Beard on June 10, 1967, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moline.
Diana enjoyed sewing and collecting crafts. She was active in many social groups and loved watching NASCAR and the Chicago Cubs.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Beard, Colona, IL; Jackie (Doug) Barber, Davenport, IA; Alan (Jennifer) Beard, East Moline, IL, and Amy (Ken) Bancroft, Colona, IL; 6 grandchildren, Amber Nolin, Crystal Davis, Nicole Davis, Paige Barber, Gavin Barber, and Matthew Beard; 2 great grandchildren, Brendan and Jalynn; mother, Betty Neal.
She was preceded in death by her father.
