Dick E. Shutt, of East Moline, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at his home.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M., Monday, March 21, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens.
Dick was born on March 4, 1930 in Iowa City, Iowa to Lyle and Josephine Porter Shutt. He married Dorothy Willaert on July 16, 1949 in Davenport.
Dick was a supervisor at Iowa Illinois Gas & Electric for 40 years retiring in 1992. He was a member of the East Moline Exchange Club, and the Antique Auto Club of America. Dick enjoyed his retirement by spending winters in Florida with his wife. He was an avid car fanatic and loved going to car shows. He never met a car he didn't like.
