Dolores V. Thornbloom, age 78, died April 3, 2004 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6th with the Rev. Jerry Pilon officiating. Visitation will be from
4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline with a wake service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Aspenwood Health Care Center, Silvis.
Dolores was born on April 23, 1925 in Humbult, Kansas, the daughter of Isaac and "Bessy" Elizabeth Veteto Colglazier. She married Louis Thornbloom on June 15, 1971 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death in December, 2003.
Dolores was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Moline. She enjoyed needlework, sewing, and dancing. She also loved dogs.
Survivors include her children and spouses; Sharon (David) Hall, Elizabeth "Betty" Just, Robert (Mary) DeShane, Randall (Jackie) Thornbloom, and Cheryl (Bob) Willits; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.
