Don Servine, 57 of Moline died Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Pathway Hospice at Trintiy at Terrace Park, Bettendorf.
A memorial service will be 2p.m. Monday, June 12, 2006 at First Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:30-5 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. A private family burial will be held at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, Salvation Army, Church Women's United Food Pantry, or Pathway Hospice at Trintiy at Terrace Park.
Don was born November 13, 1948 in Moline to J. Stanley and Jane (Peters) Servine. He married Nancy K. Armstrong on October 5, 1991 at First Lutheran Church, Moline.
Don was a 1966 graduate of Moline High School. He graduated in 1970 from Carreton University in Northfield, MN. In May of 1975 he graduated from College of Law at the University of Illinois, Urbana. He was employed for 30 years at Lohman Companies, retiring in 2005.
Don was in the U.S. Army serving from September of 1970 to April of 1972 in Germany.
Don was a member of First Lutheran Church, Moline.
Don enjoyed fine arts, literature and Japanese culture.
