Donald C. Allen, 81, of Moline, died February 12, 2010 at Trinity West Medical Center, Rock Island.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m.Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1608 13th Street, Moline. Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2010 with a rosary recited at 6:30 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline.
Donald was born on March 4, 1928 in San Francisco, California to Clyde and Paulene Scheer Allen. He married Carol S. Engstrom Charlton in June of 1970 in Rock Island.
Donald was a longtime Journeyman Electrician, loved riding motorcycles, listening to country music and working in the yard and around the house. He also enjoyed racing go-karts. Donald was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was an usher on Saturday Evenings.
