Mr. Bergstrom died at home on Monday, May 5, 2008. Donald Paul Bergstrom was born February 7, 1924 in Des Moines, IA, son of Elmer Bergstrom and Helen Freed. On June 1, 1948 he married Margaret Shirley Bennett in Moline, IL.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Air Force as flight engineer over Africa, Corsica, Italy, Austria and France.
He retired after twenty years from John Deere Plow Planter of Moline as an Expeditor.
He was a member of Elks, Amvets, Vikings, Svithiod Club, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
