Donald L. Brooks, 78, of Moline, IL, died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Forest Hill Health and Rehab, East Moline, IL.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Anyone wishing to attend should meet at 12:15 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Donald was born on October 10, 1933 in Missouri, the son of Harvey E. and Laura Brooks. He married Susan Kay Sanquist in Moline in 1996. She preceded him in death on February 4, 2011.
Survivors include his brother, Earl Brooks of CA; brother-in-law, Charlie Sanquist of Cordova, IL; sister-in-law, Patsy Ambrose of MI; and a sister of CA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan.
