Donald Clodfelter, 75, of Milan, IL died Tuesday, April 03, 2012 at Trinity Rock Island, IL.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Rock Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 2545 24th Street, Rock Island, IL from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Memorials may be made to his family. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Donald was born on February 24, 1937 in Princeton, IL the son of Robert and Buelah (Osborne) Clodfelter. He married Diane DePaepe in 1968. Donald worked as a Combine Repairman and retired from John Deere Harvester in 1994. He loved fishing, his garden, and spent many hours in his wood shop. Don was a member of the River City Riders motorcycle club for 12 years.
Don would not stop until he was certain that his son, who was stricken with a brain aneurism in 2011, was taken care of in a good facility with good doctors. Now he can rest.
