Donald O. Kurrle

Donald O. Kurrle, 85, of Moline, passed away Sunday September 15, 2024, at New Perspective Senior Living, Silvis.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday September 23, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the Christian Science Church, Moline.

Don was born on September 1, 1939, in Moline, the son of Milton and Bertha (Ver Hale) Kurrle. He had been employed as a production coordinator at International Harvester, retiring in March of 1992. Don was active with UAW Local 1356. He was a big supporter of all Moline Maroons sports. He had served three non-consecutive terms on the Moline School Board. He also helped with the Moline Track Club.

Survivors include his brothers, Gerald (Kathy) Kurrle, Orion, Clyde (Mary) Kurrle, Florida; nephews, Chad (Colleen) Kurrle, Clint Kurrle; step nieces and nephews, David (Shelly DeVolder) Ash, Kimberly (Eric Rouw) Harris, Jeff Ash; great nieces and great nephews, Kodilyn Kurrle, Chase Kurrle, Peyton & Morgan Ash, Cody & Zach DeVolder.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
