Donald W. Littig Sr

Donald W. Littig, Sr., 82 of East Moline died Sunday, May 14, 2006 at his home.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island. A visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #246, Moline. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Trinity Hospice.
Don was born August 24, 1923 in Moline to William A. and Cora E. Lindblade Littig. He married Betty Jane Warren in April of 1946. She preceded him in death on September 22, 1975. He married Ellen King on August 7, 1976 in Port Byron, IL.
Don was a WWII Army veteran serving from 1943-1946.
Don was a welder for 17 years at John Deere retiring in October of 1983.
Don enjoyed camping, traveling and gardening. He also enjoyed spending time with his pal, Buddy.
