Donald A. Sagers

Donald A. Sagers, 63, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will be having a memorial service at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 17, 2022, at New Life Fellowship, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials may be made to the family.

Don was born on November 2, 1958, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Ronald E. Carroll and Helen Davis. He married Susan Morgan in Rock Island on August 7, 2009. He was previously the owner and operator of Budget Computer Repair. He later worked at Walmart in Moline. Don attended Black Hawk College, where he earned his computer certificate. He attended New Life Fellowship in Moline. Don enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and computer work.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; children, Heather Sagers of Texas, Holly (Steve) Potter of Davenport, and Kenneth Sagers of the Quad Cities; 3 stepchildren, Bryan Cathelyn of Rock Island, Roseanna Morgan of Rock Island, and SPC Kayla Morgan of Moline; 4 step grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Urteagaulas of Texas and Nancy Carroll of Texas; aunt, Elaine Guy of Moline; and his therapy dog, Waffles.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
