Donald Smith, 76, of Silvis, formerly of Moline, died December 16, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, Moline.
Funeral mass will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline with visitation from 9:30 - 11:15 a.m. prior to service time at the church. Burial of cremains will be in Rose-Lawn Memorial Estate. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Camp Courageous, IA. The family requests casual attire and to also please write down any favorite memories of Don to be used for a scrapbook for his grandchildren. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Don was born December 19, 1931 in Hannibal, MO to Frank and Geneveve Frye Smith. He married Norma Jean (Stratton) in 1952 in Quincy, IL. She preceded him in death in 1985.
He is survived by
