Donna M. Johnson

Donna M. Johnson, 88, of Moline, passed away peacefully Wednesday August 16, 2023, at Generations, Rock Island after a short stay to reunite with her dear sister, Betty, and other family members.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday August 18, 2023, at Rock Island Memorial Park. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Donna was born on February 10, 1935, in Moline, the daughter of George and Florence (Entler) Johnson. She was a 1953 graduate of Rock Island High School. Donna was previously employed as a bookkeeper, at the former First National Bank. She was a lifelong member of the former Broadway Presbyterian Church, Rock Island.

She is survived by her nephew, Mike (Lynn) DeCloedt; niece, Susan Toth; and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, George, Helen, Marian, and Betty.

The family wishes to thank Donna’s dear friends at Forsberg Senior Living, Moline; Carol Yeager and Dena Ward; her bus driver Kim; and the nurses and staff at Fresenius Kidney Care Moline for the care given to Donna. She considered you all family.
