Doris Peterson

Doris Evelyn Peterson, 92, of Moline, passed away at Bickford Cottage of Moline on Thursday, June 13, 2019.

Private burial will be held at the Rock Island National Cemetery.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., is assisting the family.

Evelyn was born on March 14, 1927, in Wauchula, Florida, the daughter of Samuel and Ruth Peeples.   She previously worked as a nurse in the area.  She married Edward Peterson in Moline on February 19, 1949 and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2008.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Joe) Arnold, Moline, Beverly (Dan) Boultinghouse, Silvis, Kathy Peterson, Moline; grandchildren, Kevin Arnold, Moline, Melinda MacCall, Maryland, Marlena (Rich) Niemeier, Moline; great grandchildren, Bailey Niemeier, Dalton Edward Niemeier, Laurel Evelyn Niemeier, Elyse MacCall, and her sister, Alice Jane Grimes, Port St. Lucie, Florida.
