Dorothy Adams, 89, of Aledo formerly of Orion passed away February 28, 2011 at Aledo Rehab & Health Care Center.
Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2011 at Beulah Presbyterian Church, 9221 148th Avenue, Orion. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:15 P.M, prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery.
Dorothy was born on March 6, 1921 in Mercer County to Ira and Mary Elizabeth Andress Snell. She married Marvin W. Adams on November 4, 1942 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2006.
Dorothy was a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church. Dorothy and her husband, Marvin, farmed a dairy farm in the Orion area until their retirement.
