Dorothy M. Brasmer, age 85, of Rock Island, died Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Westside Assembly of God, 3908 W. River Drive, Davenport. Visitation is from 5-7 P.M. on Tuesday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to Westside Assembly of God.
Dorothy was born July 8, 1921 in Moline, the daughter of Carl and Lois (Reig) Flodeen.
She married David G. Brasmer on May 17, 1946 in Moline.
Dorothy was employed as a retail clerk for Zayre's Department Store, last working in 1983. She was a member of Westside Assembly of God, and a former Sunday school teacher at Moline Gospel Temple. Dorothy was also a telephone operator for Bus Ministry. She enjoyed reading and needlepoint.
