Dorothy H. " Dot" Jordan, 86 formerly of East Moline died September 11, 2005 at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2005 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline, Il. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial is at Dayton Cemetery, Colona, IL. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, East Moline or The Salvation Army.
Dorothy was born July 27, 1919 in a covered wagon between Joliet and Morris, IL to Earl Franklin and Ada Irene Frost Arnold. She married Irvin Jordan , Sr. January 17, 1942 in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1983.
Dorothy worked for Servus Rubber Company and was a cook for The Welcome Inn restaurant in East Moline. She also helped her husband with his businesses, Jordan's Garage, Colona; Jordan & Lewis DX, Colona; Jordan & Lewis Skelly, East Moline and Jordan's Skelly, East Moline.
Dorothy was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, East Moline, and the United Methodist Women of the church. She was an avid bowler. Her greatest love was dedicating her time and heart to her family.
