Dorothy H. Kyrk, 86, of Moline, died Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2011, at First Evangelical Free Church, 3321 7th St., Moline. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to First Evangelical Free Church, where she was a member.
Dorothy was born February 25, 1925 in Hopkins, MN, the daughter of Oscar M. and Clara C. Henkelman Kyrk. She graduated from Moline High School in 1942 and later from Moody Bible Institute in 1947.
Dorothy had been employed in the advertising department at John Deere as a secretary. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and she loved to draw and create greeting cards to send to her family and friends. She was loved by all and will be missed.
