Dorothy Lea Nelson, 97 of Moline, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14 at Bethany Baptist Church, 700 35th Avenue Place, Moline. Visitation will be from 12:00 until service time at the church. Memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dorothy Lea Schuhart was born on November 3, 1913 in Macomb, Illinois to Willis & Opal Lea Boyer Schuhart. During her career, she worked for Montgomery Elevator Company and spent many years working at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 1981.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of Bethany Baptist Church where she was active in Sunday School, Women's Missionary Guild and XYZers group. Her family was her number one priority, she loved all family gatherings and playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her; parents, sons; David & Terry Lea, sisters; Ellenor Eunice, Margreth McNeil and Luan Schuhart, brother; Lewis Schuhart.
