Dorothy Mae Love, 76, of Colona, IL, died Sunday, January 15, 2017, at home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017, at First Southern Baptist Church, 305 1st Street, Colona. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the family.
Dorothy was born on November 5, 1940, in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of James Otis and Dorothy Mae Baker Grisham. She retired from Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral.
Dorothy was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and playing cards.
Survivors include her children Shari (Phillip) Cerveny, Norma Jennings (Matt Moyer), Julie Woodson, Michael (Bonnie) Love, Bradley (Chris) Love and Stephanie Love (Shane Clark). Her grandchildren Michelle (Byron) Cropp, Charles Spicer, Dorothy Jennings (Shawn Meth), April Spicer, Krystal Love (Anthony Staggs), Bradley Meth, Breanna Clark, Johnny (Kristy) Jennings, Devon (April) Love, Joshua Koch, Jessica Koch, Arthur Jenkins, Multiple great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. And Extended Family Tony and Debbie Schlieper, Deanna Stogdell and her two kids, Judy Reed and many more that she had adopted.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James T. Grisham; sister, Doris L. Powell; very special son-in-law, Charles S.J. Jennings.
