Douglas R. Bloomhuff, 65, of Davenport, IA died June 24, 2008 at his home.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a private family gathering at a later date. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Doug was born May 22, 1943 in Detroit, MI to Allan and Margaret (Bierman) Bloomhuff. He married Connie Martinez and had been married for thirty-five years.
Doug was a final inspector at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 1999. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed trap shooting. He also coached baseball.
