Doyle Darwin Stark Sr

Doyle Darwin Stark, Sr., 73, of Moline, died December 15, 2009 at his home from prostate cancer.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Doyle was born August 17, 1936 in Cherry Valley, Arkansas to Ottie Lewis and Alda Evelyn (Clampit) Stark. He married Eileen McCombs on October 16, 1955 in Rock Island. She preceded him in death on March 21, 2008.
Doyle worked at John Deere for 35 years making gears for combines. He retired in 1993. While he worked for John Deere, he created many money saving ideas for the company.
He loved playing music, singing and traveling in his motor home with his wife Eileen whom he adored.
He is survived by Children Debbie (Larry) Bloodgood of Erie,IL, Doyle (Dottie) Stark, Jr. of Davenport, IA, Randy (Vickie) Stark of Mexico Beach, FL;
Grandchildren Shad, Kristin, Casie, Mikala, Jessica, Terry, Sarah, Ashley, Andrea, Jeff, Savannah, Angie Jennifer, Jessica, and Aaron; 30 great grandchildren and one on the way; Siblings Margaret Parish (husband John deceased) of Peoria, IL, Ann (Darrel) Pettis of Wisconsin, Patricia (Ralph) Jefford of Arkansas, Carlos Stark of Louisiana Darrel (Carol) Stark of Moline, IL and Phyllis (Bill) Edwards of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ottie and Evelyn Stark, his wife Eileen, great grandchild Kayl "Stark" Cole, and sister Rowena Jennings.
