Duane M. Moline, age 84, of East Moline, died Friday, May 17, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline with military honors conducted by Moline American Legion Post #246. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
Duane was born February 10, 1929 in Moline the son of Roy C. and Ethel E. Anderson Moline. He married Edna M. Ward on February 14, 1959 in Moline.
Duane was employed as a forklift operator for I.H. for 35 years. He was a Signal Corps Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Duane liked working with his hands, working with leather, woodworking, and on cars. He was a Chicago White Sox fan. Duane especially loved to dance with Edna.
