Duane A. Roos, age 51, of Moline, died Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Trinity, Moline.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with a Masonic Service at 7:00 p. m. Burial is at Rose-Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Duane was born August 28, 1960 in Morrison, IL, the son of Marvin Roos and Hope Masscho Washburn. He married Tammy Smith on September 8, 1990 in Moline.
Duane was employed as a laborer at Smith Filtration Inc. in Moline. He was a member of Doric Lodge #319, and also a 32nd degree mason with the Scottish Rite, Moline. Duane loved drag racing, camping, and riding his golf cart around the campground.
