Earl Wayne Peterson

Earl Wayne Peterson, 83, of Bettendorf formerly of East Moline died April 11, 2007 at Bettendorf Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2007 with a visitation one hour prior at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline with military honors conducted.
Wayne was born January 18, 1924 in Burgess, IL to Earl and Minnie Olomon Peterson. He married Myrtle I. Mundt on March 30, 1963. She preceded him in death on December 25, 2001.
Wayne was employed as an assembler at International Harvester. He was a Sergeant 3rd class Gliderman in the 11th Airborne in the Army during WWII. He was a member of Moline Gospel Temple where he served as a former board member, deacon, Sunday school teacher, and as an usher. Wayne's time was centered on watching his grandchildren's school and sporting events.
