Earlean Flowers, 93, of East Moline, died Monday, May 30, 2011 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist, 1501 6th Avenue, East Moline. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline is assisting the family with arrangements.
Earlean was born January 14, 1918 in Euphora, Mississippi, the daughter of Monroe and Emma Draine Davis.
Earlean was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Steele, MO. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and fishing. She also loved being around her family, especially her children and her grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Big Mama".

She was preceded in death by her 2 daughters Ruth Henderson and twin sister of John, Frances Pittman, and also a son Robert Earl Flowers.
