Edna Marie Jarrard

Edna Marie Jarrard, age 74 of Moline died June 1, 2005 at her home.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 1:00-3:00 prior to the service Cremation will follow with a private family burial at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials will be accepted by her family for a fund to be established.
Edna was born June 7, 1930 in Demorest, GA. the daughter of Walter and Minnie Mote Freeman. She married Leroy Jarrard on August 23, 1950 in Dawsonville, GA.
Edna was employed in the nursing care field in various departments at the former Lutheran Hospital in Moline for 33 years, retiring on June 12, 1992. She was a member of the First Evangelical Free Church, Moline where she was on various committees, mostly involved with the Girls Clubs and the Bible School. Edna's greatest joy came from her grandchildren and family activities. She enjoyed her vegetable garden and her flowers, especially her roses. She also enjoyed photography and painting.
