Edna M. Olson, 87, of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, following a brief illness.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to River Bend FoodBank, 309 12th Street, Moline, IL 61265 or to Moline Viking Scholarship Fund, 1450 41st Street, Moline, IL, 61265.
Edna was born on April 21, 1925 in Owatonna, MN, the daughter of Carl and Anna (Nyquist) Bergstrom. She graduated from Moline High School Class of 1943 and later married Henning F. Olson on July 8, 1943 in Camp Hood, TX. He preceded her in death on August 30, 1988. Edna worked in the stockroom for JC Penney, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church as well as Clara Lodge #118 of the Moline Viking Club.

Son Gary Olson and wife Marty Calwell Escondido, CA
Daughter Linda Anderson and husband Ray Fife Portland, OR
She was preceded in death by her husband; and sisters, Ruth, Helen, Florence, and Margaret.
