Edward W. Seidel

Edward W. Seidel, 87, of Rock Island, died January 18, 2007 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at First Covenant Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave. Moline. Burial will be in Coal Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Covenant Church, Moline.
Edward was born March 30, 1919 in Rock Island to Otto and Elsie Beatty Seidel. He married Virginia Maxine Erickson on November 8, 1947 in Moline. She preceded him in death on January 16, 2003.
Edward was a systems analyst for over 30 years for Farmall. He was a member of First Covenant Church, Moline. He was a Cub fan and a lifelong fan of Rock Island High School athletics. His family was his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his four sisters.
